Thesis Title: Modalities in Medieval Logic

Benedikt Löwe

About

I completed my Ph.D. in medieval logic at the Institute for Logic, Language, and Computation of the Universiteit van Amsterdam in September 2009.  I am now a resident fellow at TILPS where I work on the Towards Logics that Model Natural Reasoning (http://lyrawww.uvt.nl/~rmuskens/natural/) project.

My Ph.D. research was in the area of medieval modal and temporal logic, with specific interest on the effects of theology on the development of both, and my current research focuses on obligationes.
